Placing an order for a wedding cake ?
A deposit will reserve the date, allowing clients to to finalize the details of their cake design at a later date if necessary. Most of our wedding cakes are booked 3 months to a year in advance. We recommend all cake orders be placed at least 2 weeks prior (subject to availability). For short notice orders please call us immediately on the rare chance that we may be available. We usually see the couple and/or wedding planner at least two times. During our first meeting we will discuss about the design and the flavors you want to have on your tasting box (four combinations). Prior to your second visit we will send you ideas of design or sketches in order to set the final design of your dreaming wedding cake and a quote.

Wedding cake tasting must be up there amongst the most enjoyable aspects of planning your big day. What is not to love about sampling delicious cake and deciding what flavours would be most enjoyed by you and your guests?! At Sweet Factory wedding cake tastings are operated via a sample box service including 4 combinations of cake flavors and fillings which has been hugely popular with clients. Obviating the need for yet another appointment sample boxes are delivered to your door, allowing for tasting and discussion in the comfort of your own home.
Prior to payment of booking deposit there is a €25 charge for tasting boxes. A deposit of 50% of the order is requested to proceed with an order. The remaining 50% will be paid 2 days maximum prior the date of event.
Flavours are chosen from the list of cake and fillings you will find in the Sweet Factory wedding cake order form. However if you love paticular flavor or ingredients that you would like to try… Please do let us know and we will do our best, according availabilities of ingredients, to make samples and a personalized wedding cake.
The samples are wrapped tightly and well-packaged. Once you receive your samples it is recommended that they are consumed within 24 hours.
